Terms of Use

The terms that apply when you use Coin Watch.

Use of the service

Coin Watch provides market data, safety indicators and trading tools for informational purposes only. You are responsible for any actions you take using the service and for complying with the laws that apply to you.

No financial advice

Nothing on Coin Watch is financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Safety scores and signals are automated estimates and can be wrong or out of date.

Trading

Swaps are executed either from your own wallet, where you approve every transaction, or from your in-app wallet, where trades are signed for you when you press Buy or Sell. Network fees and a platform fee of 2% may apply and are shown before you confirm. Transactions on a blockchain cannot be reversed.

In-app wallet and custody

If you create an in-app wallet, Coin Watch generates and holds the wallet key on your behalf in encrypted form, so the wallet is custodial. You are responsible for the funds you deposit. Only deposit what you can afford to lose. We are not a bank, exchange or broker, and in-app wallet balances are not insured or guaranteed by any deposit protection scheme.

Withdrawals and limits

Withdrawals go only to addresses you have saved. A new address must wait a security period (24 hours by default) before it can be used, and a recent password confirmation is required. A daily withdrawal limit applies. We may delay, limit or block a withdrawal we believe is unauthorised, unlawful or at risk of loss. Sending funds to a wrong address cannot be undone.

Account security

You are responsible for keeping your password and two-factor device safe. Turn on two-factor authentication in your account security settings. Tell us straight away if you suspect unauthorised access. We are not liable for losses caused by lost credentials or by someone you shared them with.

Availability

Data comes from third-party sources and may be delayed, incomplete or unavailable. The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. Trades can fail or settle at a worse price than shown, including when the network is congested.

Eligibility and local law

You may use trading features only where doing so is lawful for you. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your trades. We may restrict access in places where our services are not permitted.
